History

Superior Security and Investigations is part of the Maltos Group of companies that was founded in Shawnee, Oklahoma, in 1983. Louis A. Maltos, CEO, began the enterprise with a professional skip tracing firm. After 12 years, he sold the agency but continued with Maltos Investigations, which performed investigations into assets, embezzlements, bank fraud, identity and credit fraud, and various white-collar crime investigations. Mr. Maltos also provides investigative consumer reports and is the fraud investigator for his other company, Shawnee Credit Association. In 1994, Maltos purchased a small local security agency and merged Maltos Investigations to form Superior Security and Investigations. In the past 16 years, Superior has grown to more than 75 security professionals. Louis and Suzanne Maltos operate Superior Security and Investigations, based in their corporate office at 806 W. Ayre, in Shawnee, Oklahoma. Suzanne is vice president and chief financial officer.
